Are the costumes on your website for sale?

All of the costumes you see on this website were custom orders and are not for sale.  The gallery should give you an idea of what I make and what I can do for you.  If you would like a costume  similar to one in the Gallery, we can discuss making one of that style but unique to your dancer.

Are the costumes made from a size chart or personalized for each dancer?

All of my solos, duos and trio costumes are made to the dancer measurements. Once we have established the type of costume, color, etc.  I will e-mail send a measurement form for you to complete and return by e-mail or regular mail.

How is payment made?

I ask for a deposit of 50% to place your order. You may send me a personal check or pay through Venmo or PayPal. I ask for a definite design with the deposit.  I cannot accept a deposit to hold a spot.  Once the costume is finished, I will send you a picture and request the final payment.  I will mail the costume as soon as I receive the final  payment and your check has cleared.

What is the cost of a costume?

The cost of the costume depends on the size, style, intricacy of the design and amount of rhinestones.  My designs usually start at $350.00 and up for children sizes and $500.00 and up for adult sizes.  I will quote a firm price once we’ve discussed design details. The price includes the cost of Priority Mail shipping through the U.S. Postal Service.

How long does it take for delivery of a custom costume?

My delivery time is usually 6-8 weeks. It may be longer during the busy season, fall and winter.  I recommend placing your order as soon as you know the routine/type of dance you are doing.   Depending on how swamped I am, I might be able to meet a rush order but it might result in an additional charge.

Do you accept returns?

Deposits on custom orders are non-refundable. Custom items are non-refundable/non-returnable.

How would you make sure a costume fits well?

I follow the measurements provided to a T and will create a pattern based on those measurements.   Because I have so many years of experience with children’s body shapes I can usually tell if they were not properly taken.  If I have a doubt when I receive the measurement sheet,  I will request a Skype session and provide some guidance.

If a custom costume does not fit based on the measurements you’ve submitted,  I will make the necessary changes at no charge, if my schedule permits.  Major alterations might incur a fee.  Shipping charges will apply.  If I am booked you may need to find a seamstress in your area who can make alterations.

If a there is a fit problem due to an error on my part, I will make the necessary alterations and ship the costume back at no charge.  Fit issues are very rare.
